I am Felix G. Arroyo and I am asking for your vote for the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council At-Large. Time and time again JP has shown itself to be a neighborhood that values diversity, cares about its residents, and is not shy in taking a stand against injustice. However, we must continue to ensure that JP is a neighborhood that fights to keep our diversity intact. People of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientation, ages and religions call JP home. With the cost of housing continuing to rise our neighborhood is at threat. We can not allow that those who fought hard to make JP what it is today be forced to move because they have been priced out of their homes. I am committed to fighting with my neighbors to ensure that we can all continue to call JP home. We are all proud to call JP home and we all have a stake in JP’s future lets ensure that that future includes us all.
With your support the JPNC will continue to fight for the issues important to our neighborhood whether it be pushing the city and its developers to be committed to affordable housing, fighting to ensure that our schools have the proper resources and parents have the needed support or holding the city accountable to basic services like making sure the crosswalks are re-painted, traffic lights are repaired and pesky pot holes are filled in.
I respectfully ask for your vote and if I can be of any assistance please call me at 617-522-5191 or email me at [email protected]
