The Gazette offered all of the candidates for the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council the opportunity to submit biographical statements for publication on our Web site.
The election will take place on July 12 at Jamaica Plain Orange line stops, as well Hi-Lo Foods in Jackson Square, J.P. Licks, and in the parking lot next to Star Fish in Egleston Square. Polls will be open between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and again between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
I am running as a write in candidate. A JP resident for 27 years, I was on the 1st neighborhood council. I am a member in good standing of Carpenter’s Local 67, a board member of the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Corp, board member of the Brewery Development Corp, board member of JP Business and Professional Association, Officer of Sumner Hill Association, member E-13 strategic planning, on the Forest Hill Improvement Initiative Working Group and a Trust member of the JP Housing Trust (old high school) I am also the owner of Chloe, the Jamaica Plain Gazette’s most photographed dog.
