Local teen charged in stabbing

A Jamaica Plain teenager is being held on $50,000 bail after allegedly stabbing another man in the back at the Silver Line bus stop in Roxbury’s Dudley Square.

Tyre Wade, 17, of 20 Amory Ave. was allegedly carrying a knife and tissues stained with what appeared to be fresh blood when he was ar-rested shortly after the Feb. 26 incident, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors claim that Wade and Jamall Leslie, 17, of Roxbury approached two men at the Silver Line stop. Wade then stabbed one man, caus-ing a serious injury, while Leslie threatened both men with a handgun, prosecutors claim.

A Boston Police Department employee allegedly observed the incident and drove MBTA Police officers in pursuit of the suspects. The offi-cers arrested Wade and Leslie a short time later on Washington Street in Roxbury. Leslie was allegedly found carrying a fully loaded .40-caliber handgun. He is also being held on $50,000 cash bail.
