SOUTH ST.—Attorney Peter Fenn aims to have an updated plan this summer to demolish his 71 South St. law office and replace it with a five-unit condo building, he told the Gazette.
Some neighbors expressed concerns about the proposal’s density and parking when Fenn announced it in December 2011. The existing property includes a single-family home with a large lawn. The law office would relocate.
“I’m still meeting with neighbors and still working to come to a mutually acceptable resolution,” Fenn said.
He said he hopes to file a new plan with the City in August. It still will be a five-unit building, but its configuration and size is changing, he said.
Stan Furash, one of the Atwood Square residents who expressed concern about the plan, confirmed to the Gazette that the talks are continuing.
