I live in the last house on Spalding Street, which abuts the Southwest Corridor Park. I recently reported several items of concern to Holly Richardson at the state Department of Conservation and Recreation. Within 48 hours, five streetlights were fixed, sections of DCR land that had grown wild were mowed, and several patches of graffiti were painted over. I was amazed at the quick response of Holly and her team. Thank you, DCR!
