The return of the JP Progressives group is a welcome development in JP’s political life.
Skilled at holding forums and questioning candidates, JP Progressives was influential in the 2009 mayoral race. One did not have to share their political leanings to get oodles of valuable information from their events and candidate questionnaires.
Now the neighborhood is benefiting once again as the group recently brought Democratic gubernatorial candidates to Doyle’s. It is great for JP to know the candidates, and even better for candidates to know JP.
We look forward to more voter-information events from JP Progressives, and we look forward to seeing Republican candidates brought to JP as well.
