English High School cadets supported Memorial Day by decorating Mount Hope Cemetery with over 7,000 flags for veterans graves and replacing 25 Hero Square wreaths around the Hyde Park area. This the JROTC program’s Service Learning Project where students learn by doing and reflect on the work they have done for the community. JROTC cadets visited veterans sections going back as far as the Spanish American War and the Civil War as well as World Wars I, II, Korea and Vietnam.
