J.P. Licks, Boston’s favorite ice cream shop, is thrilled to announce two new bold, exciting flavors – Coconut Curry Ice Cream and Thai Iced Tea Ice Cream – that will be available in all 17 store locations starting on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Coconut Curry Ice Cream blends the richness of coconut and traditional curry spices of turmeric, cinnamon, coriander with a kick of ginger and the all-new Thai Iced Tea Ice Cream is a creamy blend of traditional black tea mixed with creamy condensed milk, hints of cloves, fennel, cinnamon, and ginger.
“When we think of bold new flavors we always enjoy experimenting with rich flavors and spices,” says J.P. Licks founder and owner Vincent Petryk. “Our two newest flavors certainly complement each other well, one packing a bit of the punch and the other having a creamy and decadent texture that will surely leave our customers coming back for another scoop.”
Locally owned and operated by Vincent Petryk, J.P. Licks now boasts 17 store locations throughout Massachusetts and has remained homemade and locally owned and operated. The company employs up to 453 employees in the summer months and ships coffee (which is roasted in-house at the Jamaica Plain store) and merchandise anywhere in the continental USA.
