Several Jamaica Plain runners topped the fields in the CfJJ on the Run 5K fund-raiser race at Jamaica Pond on Oct. 16.
The men’s and women’s overall winners—Peter Kilkelly and Elaine Scales—are both JP residents. Other JP winners included: Carroll Blake (men’s 60-plus); Isaac Gilman (male 13-19); Caleb Ping (men’s 20-39); and Johmiya Pryor (female 13-19).
The race supported Citizens for Juvenile Justice, which advocates for putting 17-year-olds accused of minor crimes in the jurisdiction of juvenile courts rather than adult courts. For more information, see cfjj.org.
